Safety Signs

Escape route signs

JALITE photoluminescent escape route signs including fire exit, exit, emergency door operation, assembly area, mobility impaired and international way guidance fire safety signs, are the most fundamental sign applications for occupants. During an emergency, JALITE photoluminescent escape route signs provide a series of consistent and unambiguous directional information that lead evacuees along the means of escape.

JALITE photoluminescent escape route signs are characterised by the safety green colour as specified in BS ISO 3864-1:2011. All JALITE escape route signs are designed to conform to the graphical symbols in BS EN ISO 7010:2020, especially the running man symbol for fire exit and exit signs. JALITE photoluminescent escape route signs such as the fire exit and exit signs, conform to specifications in BS 5499-4:2013. This Standard states that supplementary text and arrows must accompany the running man symbol, to prevent confusion, misdirection and delay when attempting to escape.

JALITE photoluminescent escape route signs provide evacuees along the means of escape with a full wayfinding system, with some installed at both low and high location BS ISO 16069:2017. JALITE photoluminescent escape route signs, help evacuees escape in all lighting conditions especially in power loss and smoke-filled conditions.
